Random resets and repeated driver installs can make the original issue harder to identify. A better sequence is to verify the printer itself first, then connection, queue, software, and only then deeper changes.

Read the printer screen
Look for paper, cover, supply, network, or maintenance messages before changing computer settings.

Confirm physical basics
Power, paper placement, covers, trays, cables, ink or toner seating, and visible jammed paper.
